Walk round Finistère!

La presqu'île de Crozon

A Walking Tour of Finistère: the free-range package

The coasts of Brittany are extremely diverse and the famous ‘Customs Officers’ coastal path - created in 1791 to fight smuggling - allows visitors to discover this magnificent coast. To help you access these incredible maritime landscapes without any timetables or restrictions, we’ve devised a series of ‘free-range’ walks, modelled on the famous pilgrimage walk, The Way of Saint James, also known as Camino de Santiago.

Over recent years, we have created 10 sections along the coasts of Finistère (numbered from 6 to 15) of 5 to 7 days walking, making a total of nearly 1,000km going from Lannion to Lorient. For each section or short-break that is booked, we provide accommodation and luggage transfers, plus a personalised route planner.

We’ve also taken into account ease of access by train, bus or car. It’s possible to link up several sections and to add extra nights so you can rest between sections or simply make the most of a particularly appealing spot.

Over to you, pilgrims of the coastal paths, to start a new adventure with a week-long walk or maybe two or three along these coastal paths ‘at world’s end’ here in Finistère.
