By train, by plane or by car: here's the information you need to get to Finistère...

The airports of Brest (Brest Bretagne) and Quimper (Quimper-Cornouaille) cover the north and south of the region. 

There are no toll-roads in Finistère, so the motorways coming from Rennes or Nantes direction allow you to access the whole of Finistère easily, conveniently and free of charge.  

By car

Guidelines for travel times to Finistère by car:
2 hours: Rennes, Nantes
3.5 hours: Caen
5 hours: Paris, Bordeaux
7 hours: Lille, Toulouse
8.5 hours: Lyon
10.5 hours: Marseille

By train

Every day, the TGV high-speed train offers direct routes throughout Finistère, at the best possible prices.

The TGV also provides daily links from Lyon to Brest and Quimper (via Rennes or Le Mans) etand once a week from Lille to Brest. By boat

If you live across the Channel, why not choose a crossing on one of the many ferries that come to Roscoff? Connections from Plymouth or Cork with Brittany Ferries, and from Rosslare with Irish Ferries.
