Centre d'interprétation des sites archéologiques de Ménez Dregan

  • Historical sites and monuments

Travel back to 500,000 BCE on the trail of our ancestors. From the dolmen at the Pointe du Souc'h to the covered Pors Poulhan alleyway, taking in the Menez Dregan grotto (a major Palaeolithic site where archaeologists have discovered the traces of manmade fire, and which figures among the oldest sites in the world). The Menez Dragan centre reveals all about the archaeological site and the men who used it by displaying the methods used and the finds discovered. In July and August, Plouhinec Tourist Office offers guided tours of the sites to individuals, and to groups and schools all year-round on request.
