Le Faou

Le Faou

Between the Arrée Mountains and the Brest estuary, Le Faou is a picturesque town. Its history is  closely linked to the ocean.

Many 16th-century houses can still be seen in the town center. Walking along the streets will transport you to the golden age of the town, when the port was at its prime. On the port, the 16th-century church is also worth visiting. In summer, the "Maison de Pays" will help you to learn more about the history of this town.

After a stroll along the sea and a walk in the forest of le Cranou nearby, don't miss Rumengol and its 16th-century church built on a druidic site.
