Come and take a look around the many workshops and studios that artists have set up in Pont Croix, and be sure to visit the two steep, cobbled streets leading to the riverside - called Petite Rue Chère and Grande Rue Chère, they are like the famous streets of Clovelly.
A town full of character
Many artists have set up their easels in and around Pont-Croix, and continue to do so - hardly a surprise as this is a town with pretty views and picturesque buildings everywhere you look!
Built on a promontory, Pont-Croix has a unique combination of old stones, cobbled streets, greenery and a tidal river. There are alleyways, parallel streets and hidden corners, all ending up at the heart of the town with its collégiale, a religious building with a status between that of a church and a cathedral.
