Cultural heritage in Finistère

Finistère has such a rich cultural heritage that it is almost a vast open-air museum.

From prehistoric standing stones to abbeys and chapels, châteaux and manors, history is weaved into the landscape at every turn.

Of course, we in west Brittany are also known for using tradition as a great excuse for a good time - you'll find traces of famous painters and writers here, but you'll also find live music, folk festivals  and many a Fest Noz, which is a loveable and lively village fête with sea shanties, barbecues and late-night dancing.
