Accessible to everyone, le Bois du Névet

The Bois du Névet - Nevet Woods - belongs to Finistère County Council, under the category of sensitive or fragile natural areas. Covering 226 hectares, these woods are open to the public and include impressive tree specimens (oaks, chestnuts and beech among them).

A pathway has been constructed for those with limited mobility, stretching over nearly a kilometre, allowing visitors to discover and appreciate this beautiful natural environment with trees and woodland flowers on either side.

Access:
Approach by car from the main road (Locronan-Douarnenez).
Coming from Locronan towards Douarnenez, turn left at the crossroads of Kernair-La Clarté 1.2 km before the village of Kerlaz.
Continue for a kilometre and on your left you'll see a carpark for the Bois du Névet where there are three places specifically reserved for those with limited mobility.

Find a list of all routes and trails that are suitable for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility on  www.finistere-accessible.com and take a look at the Bois du Névet
